Let it rise
Jun 02, 2025
She felt stuck.
She stared at the table… then through it.
Tears gathered in her eyes, but wouldn’t fall.
They were stuck, too —
paralyzed in place,
like her body.
Like her life.
The hum of the television mumbled in the background,
but she couldn’t make out a single word.
It all sounded like noise.
She wasn’t sure when exactly she’d started feeling like this —
a little bit invisible to her own life.
Too tired to keep pushing.
Too sensitive to pretend she didn’t care.
Too intuitive to ignore the whisper that kept returning:
"You’re meant for something else."
She just didn’t know what…
Or how…
Or if it was too late.
But deep down — beneath the quiet ache,
beneath the habit of blaming her timing, her energy, the season she was in —
a small truth stirred.
One she had been avoiding.
One that felt both terrifying and relieving to admit:
She already knew.
She’d always known.
And the moment she finally stopped pretending she didn’t —
everything started to move again.
If nothing’s working…
it might be time to stop blaming your circumstances —
and start listening to what your intuition has been quietly trying to say.
I’ve been there.
Blaming the timing.
Blaming the confusion.
Blaming the chaos around me.
Or the ache I couldn’t quite name.
But eventually, I had to get still and ask:
What’s really blocking the peace I’m craving?
The clarity. The momentum. The soft, certain yes inside me.
And the truth?
It wasn’t anything “out there.”
It was me.
Still trying to be good.
Still trying to be palatable.
Still trying to be someone who wouldn’t make anyone uncomfortable.
All while ignoring what my Spirit already knew.
For me, the shift came when I stopped trying to be liked…
and started trying to be honest.
With myself. With Spirit. With life.
That’s when everything softened.
That’s when things began to move.
Not all at once — but deeply, truly, and with meaning.
So I’ll ask you, with love:
If you had to name the real reason things feel stuck, disconnected, or unclear… what would it be?
The honest one.
Not the polished one.
Not the one that sounds reasonable.
The one your intuition has been gently whispering for weeks… months… maybe years.
You don’t have to share it with anyone.
But write it down. Or say it out loud. Let it rise.
Your Spirit is ready.
And if you’re feeling the pull to reconnect with your inner voice — or with the loved ones and guides who walk beside you — I would be honored to hold space for you.
With tenderness, with truth, and with love,
Lauren
